Laughing Matter Improv



Anyone 18 and older is invited to come out and play with Tulsas longest running comedy improv troupe. Classes meet every Wednesday from 5:30-7:00 pm starting September 2. Public performances are scheduled every 6-8 weeks. This is an ongoing, free adult troupe taught by Joel Cheatham. Ages 18 and over.

Joel Cheatham is originally from Lake City, Florida. Joel moved to Tulsa as an intern for a missions organization where he performed drama throughout the states and overseas. Later he attended ORU where he majored in Drama/TV/and Film. Joel is currently working at Heller and Clark theatres where he builds stuff, plays with lights, teaches improv and every once in a while, performs on stage. He is also attending TCC where he is studying lighting design.

Heller Theatre is a member of the Oklahoma Community Theatre Association and the Tulsa Area Community Theatre Alliance

Heller Theatre is part of the Park and Recreation Department of the City of Tulsa. Heller has been producing contemporary plays since 1981. The same three member staff, Julie Tattershall, Frank Gallagher and Erin Scarberry operates and manages both Clark Theatre and Heller Theatre.
