Laughing Matter Improv
Anyone 18 and older is invited to come out and play with Tulsas longest running comedy improv troupe. Classes meet every Wednesday from 5:30-7:00 pm starting September 2. Public performances are scheduled every 6-8 weeks. This is an ongoing, free adult troupe. Ages 18 and over.
Lighting Workshop
Explore the technique and artistry of illuminating the stage. Theoretical discussion will be combined with hands on experimentation.
Tuesdays, September 7-28, 6-7pm. Cost is $30. Ages 18-90s.
Adult Acting Workshop
This workshop will give actors the opportunity to explore acting techniques, styles, etiquette, new material, and scene work.
Tuesdays, October 5-26, 6-7pm. Cost is $30. Ages 18-90s.
Creative Writing
Each week the class will focus on a writing exercise. We will also provide gentle, positive feed back for all levels of writing. Please bring a journal to class.
Tuesdays, November 2-30 (no class November 23rd), 6-7pm. Cost is $20. Ages 18-90s.
Playwriting Forum
Practice exercises to jumpstart your imagination and hear your work read out loud with constructive critique by members of the group. Three members of this group were represented with shows in the inaugural production of Heller Shorts.
Thursdays, September 16-December 9, 5:45-7pm. Free. Ages 18-90s.

Heller Theatre is a member of the Oklahoma Community Theatre Association and the Tulsa Area Community Theatre Alliance
Heller Theatre is part of the Park and Recreation Department of the City of Tulsa. Heller has been producing contemporary plays since 1981. The same three member staff, Julie Tattershall, Frank Gallagher and Erin Scarberry operates and manages both Clark Theatre and Heller Theatre.
