Troy Powell will direct this production.
Mr. Powell heads up the drama program at Union High School.


Once On This Island Jr. is a shortened, children's version of the original 1990 Tony Award-nominated Broadway musical written by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty (Ragtime, Seussical the Musical).

A Caribbean adaptation of the popular Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale The Little Mermaid, this energetic, clever, heartfelt parable of love and forgiveness will be staged in a highly theatrical storytelling style and performed by Tulsa area youth.

Once On This Island Jr. is presented by Clark Children's Theatre as part of SummerStage Festival 2005. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children and seniors.
