Clark Youth Theatre will host the musical production of The Emperor's New Clothes by Martha Kemm Barrett. Based on the timeless fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen, the show features songs, laughter, and a few lessons about humility and honesty.

Ms. Barrett is a local playwright and teacher from Broken Arrow, with nine children's plays to her credit. Genie Reiman directs this production, as well as designing the costumes. Musical director is Sally Adams, and Joyce Shank will supply accompaniment. Set design is by Devin Meadows, and lighting design by Frank Gallagher.

The Emperor's New Clothes will be performed March 9-11 at 7:30 pm and Sunday March 12 at 2 pm. Tickets are $7 dollars general admission, $5 for students and seniors.

As a special discount, every student that brings in a hand drawn fashion drawing gets a dollar off his or her ticket. Group rates are also available.
