 A love story set on a storm ravished island off the coast of Ireland in 1900. Torqun, the boss of the local fishing trade, plans to exchange his long time mistress Orla for a marriage to a young girl which was arranged by nuns at an orphanage on the mainland. When his bride arrives accompanied by a best friend, his vision of the future begins to unravel. The cast includes Sloan Davis, Susan Dergoul, Tammie Isbister, Bre Bolding, and Bonny Downs as stage manager for the production. This will be the world premiere production of the winner of the 2006 original play contest and will be directed by George Nelson. Heller Theatre received 217 play contest entries from all over the United States and Europe. Heller Theatre has had a yearly play contest as part of their season for the last fifteen years. Heller Theatre is part of the Park and Recreation Department of the City of Tulsa. Heller has been producing contemporary plays since 1981. Heller is celebrating its 25th season. The same three member staff operates and manages both Clark Theatre and Heller Theatre. Heller Theatre is located at 5328 S. Wheeling.
