"Marcus Is Walking"
Oct. 17-19 & 24-26
& Oct. 20 @2pm.
2002
Written on the occasion of the hundredth anniversary of the automobile, Marcus is Walking uses one of the most American of symbols to tell eleven different stories about Americans. Characters from a large cross-section of society, from the young to the old, the bizarre to the banal, play out their relationships in, around and with their cars. As they travel and explore the physical landscapes around them, so they also do the often twisting and rough landscapes within. Thoroughly shrewd and engaging in scope and observation, Marcus is Walking is a very fresh and very funny look at ourselves and our culture.
The play is directed by David L. Gray.
