Tulsa World Review

Well-known playwright Steven Dietz creates a haunting and hallucinatory tale about the making of art. Patrick Stone, a contemporary painter, has been hired to forge the legendary last self-portrait of Vincent Van Gogh and finds himself squaring off, across the years, with the master artist himself. The result is a compelling mystery about the obsession to create and the fine line that separates truth from myth.

Tickets are $8 for general admission and $6 for seniors and students. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 746-5065.

"Inventing Van Gogh" marks the final show of Heller Theatre's 25th season of providing Tulsa with the best of contemporary drama.

This show is recommended for mature audiences.
