Ron Radice a two night staged reading of the play January 23 @ 8 pm an January 24 @ 2 pm, 2010 Heller Theatre @ Henthorne is proud to present the winner of our 2008-09 International Original Play Contest, “Bricks” by Ron Radice. “Bricks” will be presented as a reading on January 23rd at 8 pm, and on Sunday January 24th at 2 pm. It’s just another evening at home for Patti and Petey, a not-so-happy couple in a not-so-happy land. Everything is as it always has been, until bricks start coming through the window. An absurdist comedy about adjusting to what we don’t have the courage to change, “Bricks” receives its world premiere production as the winner of Heller’s 2008-2009 Original Play Contest. The staged reading of “Bricks” features Tom Berenson, Joel Cheatham, and Rhonda Gallagher. Frank Gallagher directs. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for seniors or college students. Heller Theatre is a member of the Oklahoma Community Theatre Association and the Tulsa Area Community Theatre Alliance Heller Theatre is part of the Park and Recreation Department of the City of Tulsa. Heller has been producing contemporary plays since 1981. The same three member staff, Julie Tattershall, Frank Gallagher and Erin Scarberry operates and manages both Clark Theatre and Heller Theatre. |
