"Below The Belt"

2002
First produced at Actor’s Theatre of Louisville’s prestigious Humana Festival, Below the Belt is a hysterical, fast-paced satire about the petty struggles of three men on the way up the corporate ladder. Dobbitt, the bright-eyed new arrival, Hanrahan, the bitter, disgruntled veteran, and their psychologically manipulative and possibly certifiable supervisor Merkin are low-level suits, checkers for an unnamed corporation that produces an unspecified product in a faraway, indeterminable country. It’s a witty, Kafkaesque ride with all the backbiting, torment and headgames of your workplace—but oh, so much more fun. A comedy that pulls no punches and hits where it hurts, see why the Wall Street Journal called Below the Belt “the best new American play of the season.”
The play is directed by Scott Heberling.
The players are Larry Latham, Mark Miller and Craig Walter.
The play is stage managed by Katy Brannan
